A Little about Us
Lodge St John Mid Calder Received its Charter from the Grand Lodge of Scotland in 1818. For the first 105 years of our existance the lodge met in and around Mid Calder, particularly in the Torphican Arms Hotel but also occasionaly in Broxburn. In 1923 we completed the construction on our own custom built lodge room at Bank Street, Mid Calder where we still meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday between September and April, with our installation meeting on the first Friday in December.
